Belgian HealthTech company DEO signs commercial agreement with DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson

Genk, Belgium, June 24, 2021 – Health tech company DEO (Data-Driven Efficiency for the Operating RoomTM) is proud to announce the signing of a commercial agreement with DePuy Synthes, part of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Device Companies, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of healthcare products.

To safeguard the healthcare infrastructure as we know it, this agreement is now more relevant than ever. Hospitals urgently need comprehensive data insights to optimize existing processes, material, and technology usage, especially in the operating room (OR).

DEO’s data and services platform provide such insights, enabling hospitals to implement seamless OR planning, make informed change decisions and predict the impact of new technology implementations.

Consequently, objective evidence, combined with the sharing of best practices, can potentially reduce waiting times, speed up innovation to market and ultimately let hospitals reap the benefits of technology faster.

The commercial agreement makes it possible for DEO and DePuy Synthes to combine their expertise to benefit hospitals, care teams, and patients and allows DePuy Synthes to offer the DEO Solution to their customers.

Jeroen Dille, founder and CEO of DEO, says, “We’re extremely proud of this collaboration with one of the leading medical device companies. We’re looking very much forward to be working together with DePuy Synthes and bring data-driven efficiency to hospitals in the EMEA region.”
